The first ever branded, NAIA sports application for the iPhone and iPod Touch has been custom-built for Rogers State University athletics and released in the iTunes App Store— available for download today, for free. RSU’s customized MyPocketSchedules iPhone app currently includes four sports teams: Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Baseball and Softball. Both Men’s and Women’s Soccer schedules for 2010 will be available as soon as they are released by the university. Each team schedule provides game times, locations, and results that will be managed by RSU through a supported website, www.mypocketschedules.com.
“This is a great tool for our fans to use when following Hillcat Athletics,” said Ryan Bradley, RSU Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations & Communications. “The MyPocketSchedules app allows our fans to store all of our schedule information in one centralized location on their phone. Plus, they can receive real-time updates on scores, rainouts and schedule changes and it’s all free.” Fans can download the RSU app by searching for it in the iTunes App Store or by clicking on the “Get the iPhone Schedule App” on the RSU Athletics homepage, www.rsuhillcats.com.
Steven Smallwood, local Claremore resident and President of SilverTree Technology, has designed this user-friendly app for Hillcat fans to follow their favorite team. SilverTree can create custom athletic schedules for any team or school and make available for the iPhone at a low cost.
